ethos
+
root + ritual is a private tattoo studio and ritual arts space where tattooing is honored as a sacred practice of transformation, remembrance, and embodied healing.
through intentional tattooing, ceremonial gatherings, cacao circles, seasonal offerings, and community experiences, root + ritual exists to reconnect people with themselves, the Earth, and one another.
this work is rooted in the belief that art, ritual, and authentic community have the power to restore wholeness, awaken deeper presence, and nourish meaningful connection in a modern world longing to remember.
+
tattoos can be portals of intention, healing and transformation. root + ritual serves as a ritual tattoo space for those seeking a deeper heart-led tattoo experience.
△ core values
presence
We believe in the healing power of being in body, attuned to spirit, and in relationship with the living Earth. Deeply honoring the sacred in all things, every offering is infused with intention, care and respect.
reciprocity
We honor the sacred exchange between giver and receiver, human and Earth. Our offerings are rooted in mutual care — for our clients, our community, cultures, and ecosystems that sustain us.
empowerment
We create space for self-expression, transformation, and inner sovereignty. Through ritual tattooing and sacred gatherings, we support each person in reclaiming their voice, their body, and their own unique path.
>> these values are the roots that guide each offering at root + ritual
root + ritual is an intimate sanctuary space designed to ground and expand the heart. the space is woven with deep intention, warmth, peace and the essence of the elements to help those who enter into the space slow down and fully arrive.
